Ome banjo
I absolutely loved the Northstar, even though I tend to like 12' banjos better. Ive picked up and passed along two Omes: an 11' Northstar and a 12' Jubilee. Ome Banjos are built in Boulder, Colorado, where Chuck Ogsbury has been involved in building banjos since 1960, founding Ode, and later, the Ome Banjo. Includes hardshell case and setup from our luthiers. Ome banjos, like Deering, have a resale value that is much lower than the showroom price compared to other banjos, so I would definitely go used. An incredibly versatile banjo, the OME Custom Alpha 12" Open Back Banjo is particularly great for clawhammer-style playing. The banjo is stock but I did add the OME arm guard and the Superior hardshell case as seen in the photos. The is the UTE Standard 12' open back banjo which I purchased new from Avenue Guitars. The details are top notch here too with an Ome bridge and Sweetone tailpiece and a Renaissance head. For sale is a hard-to-find UTE banjo, made by OME in Boulder, CO. The wooden armrest is a perfect addition to its overall classic appearance and makes for a comfortable player.

You have a 26 1/4" scale, an Ebony fretboard with a frailing scoop, and a 1 1/8" nut width. This has been fully inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia. It has several cool custom features including a Cherry rim and neck, with a Maple dowel rod and aged brass hardware throughout - all of which make for one bright player with subtle warmth and depth. This is a gorgeous OME Sundance 5 string Banjo which is Made in USA.
